Growing up, Mark's family needed government assistance to put food on the table. He will be a strong voice for working families. He'll champion paid family and medical leave so that workers can afford to care for a new baby or a family member who is seriously ill. He will work to help hard-working families earn enough income to support themselves and their families by strengthening equal pay for equal work laws to ensure women who do the same work, earn the same as men.
